I'M BACK AGAIN, BAYBAY! (important info time)

For all of you who thought I was gone for good, fear not! I'm back to post more bondage-tastic drawings for all of you weirdos out there! I took my punishment like a good little subbie, got a nice suspension (too bad this suspension didn't involve rope), and now that I'm back I gotta get some info out there just in case this happens again.

WHAT HAPPENED: Okay, so first thing's first, here's a little de-briefing (if that's okay with DA ). Here's what happened: I posted a certain image featuring Rebecca in a pretty intense BDSM situation (even for me, lol). When I checked DA a few hours later, I had a ton of notes in my inbox. 22 of my works (many of which I consider to be among my best) disappeared so fast it would've made Joseph Stalin blush. I also got a month suspension, from March 13th to April 13th. I guess the drawing in question acted like a magnet for the series of take-downs that happened on my account. Oops.

WHERE MY MATURE WORK CAN BE SEEN/HOW TO CONTACT ME: The most important info for me to get out of the way is that, just because my DA account is down doesn't mean that I've stopped creating work or posting to the internet. I have accounts on Tumblr, FetLife and FurAffinity (though I rarely post on the last one, unless I get a furry-related commission). They're all under the same user name, Geknebelt. My Tumblr is the most important one. You can find it at geknebelt(dot)tumblr(dot)com. Hopefully that's easy enough to remember! For the entirety of my suspension, I was posting to those places. All of my work that got pulled from DA is safe on there as well, so anybody who's missing a particular drawing of mine can find it there. I can also be contacted via Tumblr, FetLife, and my email, geknebeltbondage@gmail.com. I just want people to know all that stuff in case my DA account gets suspended again, or worse. See, I actually rely on commissions and bondage stuff for my income, and since most of my commissions come through DA, this suspension kinda forced me to scrape into my savings for this month, haha. I thought I should emphasize that I still am available and active even when my DA is down.

WHINING: I'll be honest, I'm quite worried about being perma-banned here. The one-month suspension is the longest time bracket a person can get without getting their account removed altogether. Also concerning is that many of my works that were pulled were within DA's guidelines--adult characters, no genital contact, no phallic sex toys... in some cases the characters were fully clothed! If you look at DA's rules, a lot of things listed are said to be reviewed on a "case by case basis." This makes me feel that I could be banned out of the blue. So I'm gonna be censoring myself on DA more in an attempt to decrease the chances of that happening. Of course, fully-uncensored drawings of mine will still be on my Tumblr and other places, and I am still open to drawing anything. Speaking of which, if anyone is curious about that "Tayuya's Ordeal, Part 3" thing, it's up on my Tumblr. No way in hell I'm gonna risk posting that one on here, censored or not!

deviantART may not like users like me, but the irony is that my fetishistic scribblings have gained more support here than on sites that SPECIFICALLY cater to fetishes or hentai. I've managed to turn what I do into a part-time job for myself, and it's because of the awesome community here. Whether through commissions, favourites, comments and other forms of sharing, the community here has helped build up a lot of kinky people's confidence in terms of how far their perverted creations can keep them afloat.

PATREON COMING SOON: ...If I lose that, it'll mean scrambling to find a way to keep myself afloat. To that end, I'm gonna be working on setting up a Patreon. See, I'd planned on making a Patreon around Spring of 2019, because that would be a time that'd be less hectic for me, thus freeing me up to make the Patreon as good as it can be. I wanted to hit the ground running. But this suspension has made me feel that I should at least get it started, even if it will probably start off being pretty pathetic when it does launch (don't worry, when I do set up a Patreon I'll make the subscription be based on how much work I put out rather than month-to-month, in order to allow for me taking my sweet time). I'll post an update here when I've gone public with it. Honestly I wanna research other Patreon creators as much as I can beforehand so that my own Patreon account doesn't seem restrictive to viewers. So if anyone has any experience with Patreon I'd love to know about it. Also let me know if you'd be interested in supporting me through there.

COMIC IN THE WORKS: The last thing to mention is that I've been working on a full-length comic, very slowly, for the past year or so. I have it fully scripted and have plotted out several story arcs--all I need to do now is draw it. It's really REALLY early in development and won't be ready for actual release for a long time yet (I'm talking a year at least). I've told a few of my followers about it, but one LoveandBondage actually funded the creation of several pages, which helped me get off my ass and actually draw something of it. You can see two of those pages here, at the line art stage: sta.sh/21m2vuc1ee79?edit=1 At this point I'm only taking pages to the line art stage because I plan on getting a tablet and learning how to colour and ink with either SAI or Photoshop so that the final result looks more professional than most of my current work. The reason I bring this up is because I'd like the comic to be my long-term Patreon goal. SOMEHOW I'VE BEEN GETTING NEW WATCHERS WHILE SUSPENDED. Like, I don't even know how since people weren't able to look at my profile while I was offline... but, I'm getting close to 5,000 watchers! So I'll probably do another one of those suggestion contests featuring my homegirlz Anna and Rebecca. I'll be putting up a dedicated journal for that some time later in the month with all the details, but if you have any suggestions in the meantime for a situation featuring the two of them, lemme know
